The Disciplina Arcani (the secret doctrine) is a title used to describe the secret, esoteric and purely oral tradition behind Christianity; a discipline that was only shared with a select few after initiation in ancient times.
The existence of the Disciplina Arcani is academically irrefutable. However due to the early church’s tendency for secrecy, coupled with the fact that the knowledge represented a threat to the Roman state, it has survived purely as an undercurrent throughout history; often mingled and disguised as Greek mysticism.
Doctrine of the Ancients
The Disciplina Arcani was not limited to Christianity, but is rather the underlying mechanics that all ancient religions and cults were based on. If we view religion as a type of vehicle such as a car, the disciplina arcani would be the mechanics of the engine and what goes on under the hood; the understanding of the electrical system, a grasp of combustion and so fourth.
In other words, the doctrine of the ancients is the underlying technology that is the source of the near super-human attributes ascribed to holy men throughout the ages; a full map of the human being and the principles that make up our body, mind and soul.
Secrecy
Publicly this knowledge was never fully divulged. In both Greece, Rome and Egypt it was punishable by death to expose the mysteries to the uninitiated and profane public. Priests and ascetics would often chose death rather than exposing the secrets at the heart of their tradition.
The extreme secrecy was there for multiple reasons. First of all to help guide the aspirant to faith and inspire better conduct and moral behavior; secondly to avoid people hurting themselves. The forces at play in nature and the cosmos in general – are the exact same forces at play within a human being. These forces are not to be toyed with.
Instead of open access like we are used to today, the esoteric doctrine was expressed through myth, art and symbolism; symbols that formed a language that was more or less universal across nations, cults and ages. A language that has sadly been lost through the ravages of literalism and the extremism it has fostered.
Restoring the mysteries
The loss of this knowledge is ultimately what has catapulted the west into utter chaos. We have gone from living in harmony with nature, respecting nature, to exploiting it; if not blatantly destroying it. We are literally cutting off the branch that we sit on, spellbound by man made concepts of wealth and status that will mean nothing when death knocks on our door.
Restoring this language enables us to gain insight into the mysteries and what the sacred texts truly say. This is something I have worked tirelessly on for close to three decades. The mysteries must be restored, and the error that led to literalism and consequently, fundamentalism and radicalization must be corrected at all cost.
It will be difficult for many people to accept what I teach on this website. Some will never see reason but blindly continue on the path they were set. But others will listen, recognize the path, and correct themselves accordingly.
It has to be done, or things will not end well for our species.
